After the blackout, thousands of homes are still without electricity

More of 15 thousand users of the Edenor and Edesur companies continue this Wednesday without electricity supply in different neighborhoods of the city of Buenos Aires and towns in the Buenos Aires suburbs, according to the National Electricity Regulatory Entity (ENRE).

In the early morning, the number of homes without electricity exceeded 20 thousand. The number seems low next to the Tuesday followingnoon blackout that left 700,000 users without power due to the collapse of a high voltage cable in the San Martín district.

At 10, they added 9,239 users of the Edesur concession area that remained without electricity in different Buenos Aires neighborhoods such as Villa Crespo, Nueva Pompeya and Villa del Parque, among others, as well as towns in the southern suburbs such as Quilmes and Florencio Varela, due to interruptions in medium and low voltage service.

In the case of the area of Edenor, users without electricity supply reached 6,537, Mainly from the Buenos Aires districts of Merlo, La Matanza and General San Martín.
