The 18-year-old from Linz was sentenced to 22 months in prison in February 2023 for three counts of armed robbery at tobacconists. On October 6th, the prisoner escaped from the Linz prison and changed his accommodation several times in order to conceal his stay.
On October 20th, he and an accomplice robbed a tobacconist’s shop in the Neue Heimat district of Linz. The OÖN reported:
He probably committed this attack in order to be able to finance his further escape. As part of extensive investigations, the fugitive 18-year-old was tracked down and arrested in Linz-Auwiesen on Monday. He is transferred again to the Linz prison.
