Al-Marsad newspaper: The sons of the late Ayed bin Dghaither Al-Otaibi announced his retirement from participating in the upcoming editions of the King Abdulaziz Camel Festival competition.

The statement explained: “The sons of Ayed bin Dghaither Al-Otaibi, may God have mercy on him, extend their thanks and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, may God protect him and his care, and to the honorable position of His Highness the Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman, may God protect him, for what they offer to our authentic popular heritage and their unconditional support. He pointed out: “We announce our retirement from participating in the upcoming editions of the King Abdulaziz Camel Festival competition,” adding: “At the same time, we wish success to our brothers participating in the upcoming editions.”

It is noteworthy that Dabbous bin Mubarak bin Abdullah won the first place in the “Al Shaddad” Cup with 785 points, while Hamad bin Awadah bin Ali Al Marri won the second place, with 774 points, meaning that the difference between them is 11 points.
