The Egyptian musician, Ahmed Abdel Rahman Abu Zahra, revealed the latest developments in his father’s health after the health crisis he recently suffered and his transfer to the hospital.
Ahmed Abu Zahra said in a statement to “Erm News”, that his father performed a successful operation yesterday, Saturday, in the pelvic area, and then moved late in the evening to the intensive care room.
The son of the artist, Abdel Rahman Abu Zahra, explained that his father was suffering from a fracture in the right pelvis area due to his fall in the bathroom of the house last month, but the operation was postponed more than once due to the delay in his health.
He pointed out that the doctors decided to perform the operation after the condition improved relatively and his consciousness returned, as he was unconscious during the past few days.
It is noteworthy that the Egyptian artist, Abdel Rahman Abu Zahra, was transferred to a hospital in the Egyptian Giza Governorate on the 25th of last March, after he fell ill and was confined to the intensive care room.
However, according to previous statements by his son, the artist was subjected to lack of attention and neglect in the hospital; This led to the delay and exacerbation of the condition, in addition to his infection with a stomach microbe that he did not have upon entering the hospital, stressing that he had agreed with his brothers to transfer their father to another hospital.
On the 28th of last March, Ahmed Abdel Rahman Abu Zahra called on state leaders in Egypt to intervene and transfer a mother, to move on the same day to Al-Galaa Military Hospital in Heliopolis in the capital, Cairo, but the operation was delayed more than once due to the instability of the health condition, and its intolerance to anesthesia. And ping as a result of unstable consciousness.
Regarding the details and the beginning of the health crisis, Ahmed Abu Zahra said that his father fell at home on the 22nd of last March, noting that he was with him and saw that his fall was light and he could not imagine that it would cause him so many health problems.
He added that, “After his fall, he got up and spoke to the family and was sitting with them at the banquet, and on the next day strange things happened, and sometimes he was not completely conscious; What raised our suspicions that the case was due to the medications prescribed to him by the neurologist.”
He continued, “The doctor told us that my father was dehydrated and needed to drink a lot of water and to walk, and we tried to help him follow the instructions, but complications occurred after it occurred, and the dehydration developed into his refusal to eat and drink, and we had to transfer him to the hospital and intensive care and he did not sleep for two days.”
