After Shakira, Miley Cyrus takes revenge on her ex-boyfriend with a new song

The American actress and singer, Miley Cyrus, decided to follow in the footsteps of the international artist, Shakira, as she dedicated a song to criticizing her ex-husband, the Australian artist, Liam Hemsworth, whom she separated from him regarding three years ago, according to the network.CNN“Al-Ikhbariya”.

And Cyrus, 30, had lived a stormy love story with Hemsworth (33 years), since before 2012, when they announced their engagement for a year before they decided to separate, and then they got back together once more until they announced their marriage in 201. The divorce took place in January of the year 2020.

Cyrus chose to release her new song, “The Flowers,” following a three-year hiatus from singing, and on the day that coincided with her ex-husband’s birthday, as the lyrics refer to a love story that ended in separation.

In the song, Cyrus says: “I am able to buy myself flowers, write my name in the sand, and talk for hours with myself… There are things that are difficult to understand.”

And she adds, “I can dance with myself, and hold my hand.. Yes, I can love myself better than your love for me.”

It seems that the song is a great success, as it has achieved more than 38 million views in less than four days, knowing that this song will be released in Saili’s next album entitled “Endless Summer Vacation”, which is expected in the tenth of next March.

Shakira’s song, which “mocked” her ex-boyfriend, Gerard Pique, set records with more than 71 million views following more than 24 hours.

The song came in an artistic collaboration between Shakira and the DJ, “Bizarab”, in which she said that she is “equal to two 22-year-old women,” noting that “he replaced a Ferrari with a Renault, and replaced a Rolex watch with a Casio watch.”

In the song, she said that she is at a level “above his level (Pique), and that is why he is with someone just like him,” and invited him to spend time training his “mind” just as he spends time training in the gym.

Pique was associated with the Lebanese-Colombian singer, Shakira, following they met during the filming of the video clip for the song “Waka Waka” during the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, which his country won for the first time, according to a report by Agence France-Presse.
