Cyrus chose to release her new song, “The Flowers,” after a three-year hiatus from singing, and on the day that coincided with her ex-husband’s birthday, as the lyrics refer to a love story that ended in separation.
In the song, Cyrus says: “I am able to buy myself flowers, write my name in the sand, and talk for hours with myself… There are things that are difficult to understand.”
And she adds, “I can dance with myself, and hold my hand.. Yes, I can love myself better than your love for me.”
It seems that the song is a great success, as it has achieved more than 38 million views in less than four days, knowing that this song will be released in Saili’s next album entitled “Endless Summer Vacation”, which is expected in the tenth of next March.
Shakira’s song, which “mocked” her ex-boyfriend, Gerard Pique, set records with more than 71 million views after more than 24 hours.
