The Microsoft Teams application resumed its services normally, on Saturday, after it crashed for thousands of users.

Microsoft said in a post on the social networking site

Many users reported that the messaging application services had been disrupted yesterday, Friday, and complaints reached a peak at more than 14,000 reports, according to the Down Detector website.

It appears that all faults have been resolved today, Saturday.

The company said earlier that it had detected a network problem affecting some Teams services and was trying to solve it.

Teams is widely used for work tasks such as scheduling online meetings, chatting, and file sharing, and is part of the popular Microsoft 365 suite of applications.

DownDetector reports malfunctions by collecting status reports from a number of sources, including reports submitted by users on its platform.
