The first round of the Indonesian Damper Class (IDC) Tuned Mini 4WD IMI 2024 National Championship has been held. The event, which was held on April 19 – 21, was attended by 33 teams. Participants’ enthusiasm increased following the Mini 4WD officially took part in the XXI 2024 National Sports Week (PON) exhibition.

“Last year, when Banteng Motorsport held the IDC National Championship, we experienced a decrease, the maximum 25 teams was already very good. This year, since we provided information on the entry for the 2024 PON exhibition, it was approved and implemented, it has increased to 33 teams,” said the Director of Banteng Motorsport who also the national promoter of the Indonesian Motorcycle Association (IMI), Bimo Pradikto in Jakarta, Sunday (21/4).

The first round of the Mini 4WD race which took place with the “Full Coupon” system was in collaboration with Nobitakun as the event organizer. In the next round, his party collaborated with Ragas, BMS and Bosku Garage.

The Nobitakun Event Organizing Committee, Deril, conveyed that the winners of the 2024 IDC Tuned Mini 4WD IMI National Kerjurnas were as follows:

Juara I: Britrack

Juara II : YWF Fasthon

Meanwhile, this event was held as a result of the collaboration between Banteng Motorsport and Media Indonesia as a media partner. “Hopefully this event can provide good service to the Indonesian Mini 4WD community,” he explained.

He explained that the prize for the first round this time was a total of IDR 60 million with details of IDR 13 million (1st place); IDR 11 million (2nd place); IDR 8.5 million (3rd place); IDR 6 million (4th place); IDR 4 million (V place); and IDR 2.5 million (6th place). Meanwhile, the Best Time Overall (BTO) Track 1-3 category received cash worth IDR 2.5 million and the Best Race category received IDR 5 million. The BTO for each session is IDR 100 thousand, plus there is a BTO from JakOne of around IDR 500 thousand per session.

“We really appreciate the enthusiasm of the participants because many people from the regions also attended. The total number of participants was approximately 300 people,” he explained.

Chairman of the IMI Mini4WD Commission, Hendra Lusmana, said that this year’s IDC was divided into two, namely IDC Tuned and IDC Dash.

“For this year’s IDC Tuned, there are around four rounds that we are holding in Jakarta, all of which are different organizers. This year we are trying to promote Indonesian MSME products, especially for dynamo, we are specifically preparing our own dynamo with the name Orange Tuned,” he explained. (Nov)
