The artist Youssef Mansour’s statements regarding the “cancer lie” sparked great controversy on social media platforms, especially following he revealed his personal relationship with the disease and that he is one of its survivors.
In the following lines, we review the most important information regarding Youssef Mansour, and his recent statements:
– An Egyptian Kung Fu champion, born in April 1966, and immigrated to the United States of America with his family.
He trained in kung fu in China and America, and entered the artistic field by chance when he met director Ibrahim Afifi, and offered him participation for the first time through the movie “The Old Man and the Thug”, following “Youssef” gave advice to the director to follow a specific pattern in showing beatings in films.
– He always stresses that kung fu is a way of life and more than just a game, as it requires mental strength other than physical
– His name shone during the nineties of the twentieth century with his films that relied on martial arts, including “Hilali’s Fist, No Violence, a Call to Love, Fierce.”
He presented his last film, “Badr” in 2001, which he wrote, produced and directed, and co-starred with Miss Egypt 1999 Engy Abdullah.
He said that he wasted the love of his life and regretted being distracted from love in his life earlier, and advised young people: “If true love met you, do not be surprised.”
– His opinion of the woman is that she is the one who raised and with a word from her supports the man or ends him
He disappeared from the art scene and the media for 17 years, and since 2006 he has faced a problem of erosion of the joints due to sports.
He was treated using stem cells from his own body.
Then he focused his efforts on managing a center in Germany for the treatment of untreatable diseases.
He came to Egypt and opened a branch of the center, but he returned once more to Germany, and the center was suspended for a while in Germany due to changing laws, and he said: “The pharmaceutical companies did not want us to continue because of the drug trade and the billions of chemotherapy for cancer treatment.”
He was treated for late-stage leukemia in Germany through a blood cell laboratory, not chemotherapy.
Regarding his opinion regarding cancer, he said: “This is a big lie.. and its treatment is to strengthen immunity, not chemotherapy, because it destroys immunity.”
