MotoGP champion Francesco Bagnaia set a time of 2:01.892, achieved the record at the Circuit of the Americas and claimed pole position at the AmericasGP. Álex Rins and Luca Marini will accompany the Italian in the front row.
The Italian had just suffered a crash in the race two weeks ago at Las Termas de Río Hondo. Tomorrow will be the finals on North American soil.
For the first time in history that a MotoGP toured the Texan circuit below 2.02, “Pecco” Bagnaia did it today to set a new record of 2.01.892.
