Artist Ahmed Azmy announced that he signed a contract to participate in a new artistic work, to be shown in Ramadan 2025, with Amr El-Fakki, CEO of United Media Services.
Azmy posted on his official Facebook account a photo of him and Amr El-Fakki while signing the contract, commenting, “Thank you to all my teachers, colleagues, and the great audience for your wonderful support and your words that will remain a medal on my chest. All thanks and appreciation to the United Company, this great media institution in the Middle East, and for the great role it plays.”
He continued, “Today I met with Mr. Amr Al-Faqih, the Executive Director of the United Company, and thanks to God, a contract was signed for an artistic work for next Ramadan, God willing. May God perpetuate your joy and love, and what is coming is better. Praise be to God.”
Artist Ahmed Azmy sent a message to his fellow art stars and officials at the United Company, as he entered a new year in his life. He wrote on Facebook, “Good morning, and with the first days of a new year in my life, I ask God Almighty to grant me and you the blessing of livelihood and work, and I hope that the gentlemen in charge of (the United Company) will give me the opportunity to participate in their distinguished works. I graduated from the acting department at the Higher Institute of Theatrical Arts in 2006 and participated in many works through which I won awards, including, for example: Best Supporting Actor for the movie (Closed Doors) at the National Cinema Festival, Best Supporting Actor from the Media Festival for the series (The Group)… Best Actor at the Alexandria Festival (Stolen Kisses), a special award from the jury for the movie (The Promise).”
He continued: “During the past three years, I have presented works in many Arab countries, and with major stars: the play (King Lear) with the star Yehia El-Fakharany, which was shown at the Entertainment Festival in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the series (Harb El-Gabali) with Mr. Sadek El-Sabah (Lebanon). I also presented the program Immortal Works for the Arab Radio and Television Network and the film (El-Minbar) in the United Arab Emirates.”
He added: “However, I have not been offered any work by the United Company. I hope that my friends and fellow artists, with whom I have worked throughout my life, will help me communicate with the United Company and join the drama bandwagon in our beloved Egypt.”
After his return to artistic life, the star Ahmed Azmy participated in several works, including the series “Al-Ekhtiyar 3”, “Donia Tanyah”, the movie “Bahebak”, and the play “King Lear”, in addition to his participation in the series “Harb Al-Gabali”.
