On February 13, judges Alejandra Ongaro, Daniel Sáez Zamora and Andrés Olié, will announce the sentence once morest Magdalena Espósito Valenti and her partner accused of killing little Lucio Dupuy although, for the crime for which they have already been convicted, it does not provide for anything other than life imprisonment.

Once the Court announces the sentence, all parties will have the opportunity to appeal to the Santa Rosa Criminal Challenge Courtwhich does not have time to define whether it maintains things as provided by the Oral Court or modifies them.
After the Court of Challenges, it is followed by the stage of the Superior Court of Justice of the province of La Pampa, the highest local instance. Finally, The possibility of the parties is to appeal to the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation where you have the last word and where, following its pronouncement, the ruling will remain firm.
For now, both women were convicted of aggravated homicide for treachery and cruelty and, in the case of Lucio’s mother, also for being her son’s ascendant. For Abigail Páez, the crime of sexual abuse was also added.
