In the first reaction following his arrest for threatening his ex-wife, singer Sherine Abdel Wahab, he revealed Egyptian artist Hossam HabibIn his confession before the investigation authorities, today, Monday, that he did not threaten the famous star with the firearm seized in his possession, stressing that the weapon is licensed and has a legal status.

He also explained that he went to the owner’s villa (Ah Yaleel) in the Sheikh Zayed area, to agree on artworks between them, and a verbal altercation occurred between them, and as a result, she called the police for help.

He added that he did not attack her and her two daughters, according to what was reported by Al-Masry Al-Youm newspaper.

This came, following the police announced the start of the investigation with Hossam Habib, following a report in which Sherine confirmed that her ex-husband had arrived at her home in the Sheikh Zayed area in southern Egypt in the morning without a previous appointment, and assaulted her and her two daughters with insults.

The artist also called the police for help in Egypt, and wrote a report once morest him to force him not to touch her and her two daughters once more.

A security force rushed to the location of the report, and it was indeed revealed the presence of Habib, who justified his presence by the existence of an agreement between them to finish an art project, stressing that he did not intend to harm her or her two daughters, according to him.

Abdel-Wahab also asked the authorities to secure a pledge from her ex-husband to ensure that he would not harm her or her two daughters, and drafted a report, according to which he was referred to the Public Prosecution for investigation.
