After going to the toilet, the 18-year-old returned to the classroom masked and armed: 3 people were injured with a knife

As reported, the incident in Kadzidle happened around 12:00. local time (13:00 Lithuanian time) when the 18-year-old broke into the class and attacked his classmates.

He went to the toilet and came back wearing a mask

An eyewitness told Polsat News: “We were sitting in the classroom with another class, because it was a joint class, there were about 20 of us. At one point, one of the students, whom I only knew by sight, went to the toilet. When he came back, he was already wearing a balaclava and gloves, and he was holding a knife in his hand.”

As the witness added, the attacker attacked one girl, whom he hit three times, and then another person. “Then I jumped out the window and called an ambulance,” he said.

One schoolgirl was wounded in the abdomen, and the boy was wounded in the neck. The attacker injured another person near the school.

“Three people were injured and the firefighters gave them first aid, including stopping the bleeding from the wounds. All the injured were conscious and handed over to emergency medical teams,” Brigadier General Robert Chodkowski, spokesman for the Ostrolenko State Fire Service, told the PAP news agency.

After the attack, Ostrolenko police officers, with the help of a service dog, arrested the attacker.
