Troops carrying the heirloom flag and the proclamation text carried out a procession from the National Monument (Monas) to the Indonesian Capital City (IKN) in East Kalimantan Province, Saturday (10/8).
For the first time, the Red and White heirloom flag and the proclamation text were paraded to the Indonesian Capital City (IKN), as part of a series of events to commemorate the 79th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia.

Kachina Ozora, a retired Paskibraka from Central Kalimantan, feels proud to be part of the troop.

“I feel very proud and grateful because I could be a part of the transfer and delivery of the Red and White flag from Monas to the archipelago,” he said.

Three full weeks of intensive training were carried out. On the other hand, Keyla Purnama from South Sumatra, said the task was the culmination of her long journey as a Purna Paskibraka.

“I am very proud and grateful to be selected,” he said with a smile.

Keyla views this task not only as an honor, but also a responsibility to ensure that the fighting spirit of the heroes remains alive in the younger generation of Indonesia. She has undergone training in Cibubur to carry out the task.
