The great icons of horror cinema have been on the rise lately, and it’s not the extended version of the Xbox Games Showcase that will tell us otherwise.
Evil Dead will have competition
While last May came out the video game adventures of Ash Williams with the launch ofEvil Dead : The Game, here comes another multiplayer game with asymmetrical gameplay. However, the latter does not feature the demons of Evil Dead or Jason Voorhees, the great villain of the Friday the 13th saga, but another great icon of the world of horror cinema: we have named Leatherface.
Indeed, the horrible character who has already taken his first steps in Mortal Kombat X to cut up the ninjas and mutants of the fighting game from NetherRealm Studios was entitled to a small minute of attention in the Xbox Games Showcase Extended for introduce us to a certain The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. Just like ‘Evil Dead: The Game and Friday the 13th : The Video Game, this new production by Gun Interactive and Sumo Nottingham will be a horrific multiplayer game which will offer four players to embody the survivors to face another player who, this time, is in control of Leatherface.
A Game Pass game
Like many other productions presented in recent days, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre will join the Game Pass from the first day of its launch, good news that will ensure the longevity of the title by directly bringing together a gigantic community.
The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is expected on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S for 2023. We will therefore have to be patient.
