AFTER former United States National Basketball Association (NBA) star Vince Carter was inducted into the Hall Of Fame (HOF), his first team the Toronto Raptors showed appreciation by releasing a new logo. The logo is an image of Toronto’s mascot, namely a red T-rex demonstrating Vince Carter’s legendary slam dunk at the 2000 Slam Dunk contest.

“The Raptors show love to Vinsanity following being announced as HOF,” as written in the Instagram post @nbaonespn, complete with a comparison photo between the logo and the original image of Vince doing a slam dunk.

In the comments column, basketball fans also praised the logo issued by this Canadian team. Most of them said, the Raptors should replace the team logo with this slam dunk T-rex.

“Someone make a petition to make this new Raptors logo, they need a change to bring good luck, I know jerseys with this logo will sell very well,” said one comment.

“We need a special edition purple Raptors jersey with that logo,” said another comment.

As is well known, when Vince played for the Raptors, he managed to make this team relevant, thanks to his passion and talent. During the period from 1998 to 2004, Carter averaged 23.4 points, 5.2 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.3 steals per game.

He is also fourth in franchise history with 9,420 total points, eighth in assists with 1,553 assists, and ninth in scoring. rebound following making 2,091.
