Famous actor of Indian film industry Thalapathy Vijay has announced to quit cinema following forming his political party.
Thalapathy Vijay announced the name of his political party today i.e. February 2, the name of his political party is Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam, along with this he also made an important announcement regarding his film career which is Fans were surprised.
According to Indian media, Thalapathy Vijay said in his statement that he will leave the world of cinema completely following the release of his new film ‘GOAT’ and another film whose name has not been announced.
The Tamil actor said that she will now concentrate solely on her political career while her party members will contest the 2026 elections.
In a detailed statement released on social media, he said, “Politics is a sacred work for me, I don’t just want political fame, but I want to be the best political leader from which the people can benefit. I have two films of my own.” After the release, I will leave cinema and spend the rest of my life serving the people of Tamil Nadu”.
It should be noted that along with acting, Vijay is well known in Tamil Nadu for his charity and welfare work such as free food distribution, educational scholarships, libraries, free evening tuition and provision of free legal aid.
