Jack Sweeney launched two new Twitter accounts, @RUOligarchJets and @Putinjet, following Russia invaded Ukraine. Followed by nearly 300,000 people, the two accounts give near-live updates from the planes of some Russian billionaires, CNN reported.
The Floridian had received several requests to create this type of account, complaints which have multiplied since the fall of economic sanctions once morest Russia, explained the teenager to the “Wall Street Journal”.
In total, more than 40 planes and helicopters are tracked on these accounts. The owner of the Chelsea Football Club, Roman Abramovich, the businessman Alisher Usmanov or the president of the Russian gas producer Novatek, Leonid Mikhelson, are among the few targets of the young man.
“The planes that these oligarchs own are absolutely crazy,” Jack Sweeney told Bloomberg, while the wealthiest travel in commercial-size planes, like Boeing 737s. “Their planes are huge compared to other jets.”
