Game news After Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher, CD Projekt presents Hadar, a brand new license
When CD Projekt speaks, it doesn’t do things by halves. Today, it’s not far from seven new projects unveiled by the Polish publisher, including a certain Hadar.
An additional project by CD Projekt
It is through a gigantic thread on Twitter, that CD Projekt took the floor to reveal all its future projects, and what we can say is that there are a lot of them. After mentioning Orion, the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077, just that, and following having evoked the presence of five productions that take place in the universe of The Witcher, namely the “Polaris” trilogy, but also “Sirius” and “Canis Majoris”, now the publisher is revealing an additional surprise.
This new surprise titled Hadar and still very mysterious, is neither a game that takes place in the universe of Cyberpunk 2077, nor a production that enters the world of our favorite witcher, but well a whole new license.
Hadar is a codename for a third, entirely distinct IP, created from scratch within CDPR. The project is in the earliest stages of the creative process, which means we are not developing any game yet, but working exclusively on the foundation for this new setting. pic.twitter.com/1LdoXSTniv

Hadar is the code name for a third entirely separate IP, created from scratch within CD Projekt Red. The project is in the early stages of the creation process, which means that we are not developing this game yet, but working exclusively on the foundations of this new framework.
A license out of nowhere
Contrary to what we are used to with CD Projekt, this Hadar is not an adaptation of a pre-existing universe in books, like The Witcher, or in a board game, like Cyberpunk 2077, but well an unpublished license.
Unfortunately, CD Projekt Red has so far remained very enigmatic regarding the latter, except that everything is still in its infancy. To be honest, the title hasn’t even started development yet. It will therefore be necessary to be patient to find out more regarding this new baby created from scratch by CD Projekt Red, a first for the Polish team.
