What bothers the 47-year-old much more is the injury to Lukas Tursch, who had to leave the pitch after an hour. The initial suspicion of a broken fibula was not confirmed, but an exact diagnosis has not yet been made. The only thing that is certain is that the 28-year-old, like fellow defender Martin Moormann, who suffered a slight muscle tear in the duel with former club Rapid, will probably be out for several weeks. Lucas Dantas (ankle ligament strain) is also currently unavailable. Scheiblehner: “We currently have a shortage in the number six and central defender positions. I will need good ideas for the upcoming league game in Klagenfurt.”
Will Blue-White follow suit?
According to BW sports director Christoph Schösswendter, the transfer program on the incoming players side is complete despite the current personnel situation. Defender Aristot Tambwe-Kasengele (Rapid II), who was on trial with Blau-Weiß in July, is also no longer an issue. “We are working on getting rid of more players.” One candidate, as has been rumored for weeks, would be Danilo Mitrovic.
