After Casemiro’s departure, Real Madrid changes its position on renewing Ceballos’ contract

Real Madrid is considering renewing the contract of its Spanish player, Danny CeballosAfter the departure of his Brazilian player, Casemiro, to Manchester United.

Real Madrid had announced the sale of Casemiro to Manchester United for 70 million euros, following the Brazilian wanted to take a new challenge in his career following more than 9 years with the royal club.

According to the Spanish newspaper, Mundo Deportivo, Real Madrid is considering renewing Ceballos’ contract and keeping it for a longer period following the departure of the Brazilian tank.

The Spanish midfielder’s contract with Real Madrid is supposed to expire in the summer of next year on June 30, 2023.

Ceballos was unable to get a key position last season under the leadership of Carlo Ancelotti, in light of his reliance on Toni Kroos, Casemiro, and Luka Modric, and the club was considering getting rid of him this summer, but with the departure of the Brazilian, things changed.

The newspaper said that despite Real Madrid’s desire to renew the contract of the “26” owner, but inside the club it is not known whether Ceballos would agree to the renewal or not, especially since he wanted to return to his former club Real Betis this summer, but the club’s economic crisis and requests Al-Maringi material halted the deal.
