BVB-Aus: Now Dahoud speaks!
Mahmoud Dahoud will leave Borussia Dortmund in the summer. The national player is now commenting on SPORT1 regarding his departure from the black and yellow.
After six years it will be over in the summer! Mahmoud Dahoud and Borussia Dortmund will go their separate ways following the season.
Sports director Sebastian Kehl announced on Monday Bild, what in SPORTS1 Podcast “Die Dortmund-Woche” has already been hinted at: “I had a very open and honest conversation with Mo last week. I informed him that we will not be renewing his contract in the summer. Mo has been with us for six years now, he’s a very good footballer and I really have a very high opinion of him on a sporting and personal level. Nevertheless, we decided to take this step.”
Exclusive to SPORTS1 Dahoud now comments on the forthcoming farewell: “The time at Dortmund was wonderful and, above all, the fans always supported me,” says the 27-year-old wistfully. “So there is a special connection. I am very grateful for that.”
