In a surprise to her fans, the Egyptian singer, Amal Maher, announced her return to singing less than a year following her retirement.
Amal Maher’s announcement came in conjunction with her birthday celebration.
Amal Maher wrote on her Twitter account to her fans that she “promises them to be with them and them soon, because this is her place, and confirmed that her fans are the ones who derive love and giving from them.”

Last June, Amal Maher announced her retirement and completely away from the artistic community and artistic activity, due to special circumstances beyond her control.
And she wrote in a previous tweet: “My dear audience, who has supported me for years and years and has been my constant companion, due to circumstances that are special to me and beyond my control, I announce my complete departure from the artistic community and artistic activity, wishing all my fans all the best and happiness in this life, and wishing all the best to all my colleagues “.
She added at the time that her new album was decided to be postponed indefinitely, and she thanked everyone who supported her in her artistic journey and life, and to her Arab audience from the ocean to the Gulf.
In another post on Twitter, Amal Maher indicated that she made the decision to retire following going through bad psychological conditions following the death of her aunt, who was close to her heart, as well as following the annulment of her engagement.
