The Saudi artist and star of the Tash Matash series Nermin Mohsen sparked controversy following she recently surprised her fans with the decision to remove the veil, which caused a state of division between her fans and her followers on the media following this decision.
Nermin Mohsen appeared with her hair in a silent video clip via the Snapchat application, without any comment or announcing the truth of the matter completely, so that the audience, who was surprised, interacted with her.
Nermin’s sudden behavior angered many followers who denounced her removal of the veil, noting that she was looking for trends and views in any way.
And it came in the comments: “For a veil that I took off, I wore it, the trend turned, and then I took it off, praise be to God, who saved us from what had plagued them.” Another commented that the actions of some celebrities are not on their own, but there are those who direct them and carry out his orders.
It is worth noting that Nermin has been absent for a while and has moved away from filming and appearing, to return following that and announce her wearing the hijab, and said: “I loved sitting with myself because I wanted to make a serious decision in my life that would benefit me in my world and in the herefollowing, and God willing, that God would benefit me in both homes.” She confirmed that this was her decision without anyone’s interference, as she performed the rituals of Umrah and announced her repentance.
And she confirmed that before she returns to Riyadh, she will announce from the mosque of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, that she has decided to wear the hijab, and added: “I ask God to make it good for me in this world and in the herefollowing, and to forgive us for the past and accept all good deeds from us.”
She indicated that God Almighty inspired her to wear the hijab while she was in the Prophet’s Mosque, as he knows her love for him and her attachment to him since her childhood.
