After an absence of 12 years on the stageInternational Hammamet FestivalThe “Barbass” orchestra re-appeared to the audience with its festive spirit and enthusiasm in an evening dominated by an atmosphere of fun and dancing to the rhythms of a rich musical mix open to North African cultures.
This band, which emerged in the 18th arrondissement of Paris in late 1995, and since that date has not hesitated to create a mixture of different musical genres such as rock with gnawa and blues with Algerian folk music, has fused into an artistic conception that absorbs the musical influences of everyone who joins it.
The band “Barbas” was generous with the audience and surprised them with another return to the stage following the end of the concert to instill in the audience the atmosphere of joy and rootedness in the Algerian heritage through the performance of the song “Door Beha Ya Al Shaibani” by the late Algerian artist Salim Hilali.
