From Wednesday 27 and until Saturday 30, the Dinard comedy festival returns, pumped up with the cream of confirmed comedians or in the making.
Canceled in 2020 and then in 2021, the 23rd edition of the “Dinard comedy festival” will take place from April 27 to 30. For this recovery, Xavier Lebreton, president of the festival, has some nice surprises in store. Two years without a festival, “there are things to tell! I have the impression that it was twenty years ago, this year 2019”, sighs Xavier Lebreton who admits that “the idea of stopping the festival sometimes ran through my head”. Because like an athlete who stops training, “we were a little rusty”. But the president of the festival has found a motivation to restart the machine.
Charlotte Valandrey guest of honor
“In addition we find the Debussy theater at the Palais des arts”, he rejoices. Two evenings will be dedicated to Didou, Thibaud Agoston, Kévin Robin, Julie Geller, Antoine Lucciardi and Lisa Perrio, Léa Crevon and Tristan Lucas, “eight emerging competitors in very different worlds”. With Charlotte Valandrey as guest of honor, the jury, where we find in particular Julie Ferrier or Antoine de Maximy, will be chaired by comedian Smaïn. In terms of shows, the play “Sherlock Holmes and the mystery of the Boscombe Valley” will open the festival on Wednesday April 27, at 8:15 p.m., at the Palais des Arts. We will also find comedian Kosh and his show for all ages, “Faut pas rater l’Kosh”, at the Stephan-Bouttet auditorium on Friday.
Doully and Arnaud Tsamère on stage
Xavier Lebreton has shortened the festival by one day this year (four evenings instead of five). Thus, Saturday, for the last day, two appointments: a dedication, first of all, at 5 p.m., at the bar of the Palais des Arts, with Trousse boy, in the presence of Julien Josselin and Valentin Vincent. Finally, the closing evening of this 23rd edition is scheduled for 8:15 p.m., with the presentation of the “Violet”, festival trophies. The evening that will follow will see Doully, Kosh, Arnaud Tsamere, Giroud & Stotz and Aymeric Lompret follow one another on stage.
