Federal Information Minister Atta Tarar has said that following a long struggle, the country’s economy is on the way to improvement.

While giving a press conference in Islamabad, the Information Minister said that when there is political stability, there is a positive trend in the stock exchange, the rupee has stabilized, the economy has improved, the economic figures are on the way to improvement, the 16-month government has made the country was saved from default.

Ata Tarar said that the economy should not be sacrificed to politics, the economy is improving and inflation is decreasing, there is a positive trend in the stock exchange, the whole nation is united for the improvement of the economy and national interest, Bloomberg also acknowledged the improvement of the economy. Should the stock market stabilize following the IMF deal, inflation will hit 15 percent next year.

The Federal Information Minister also said that positive trends and indicators will continue, Bloomberg said, adding that the growth rate will increase.

The Minister of Information said that the annual loss of the national airline is 80 billion rupees, the loss of PIA is a burden on the national treasury, its privatization is going forward.

Ata Tarar said that the federal cabinet also discussed regarding the economy, we should do politics on national issues, we should move forward towards economic stability.
