Since then, it has been radio silence. FC Sion claimed to have had no exchange with their player. He was absent from training and will not be available this weekend for a cup match.
During a press briefing, Paolo Tramezzani, the club’s coach, announced that Mario Balotelli will not play and according to him, the striker has been suffering from the flu since the start of the week.
However, the Swiss media give a completely different version of the facts: according to them, nobody knows where Mario Balotelli really is.
The player was however active on Instagram, in a bed facing a water point.
