The eighteenth edition of the African Lion exercise will take place from June 20 to 30, according to the program set by the Moroccan and American authorities during the final planning meeting.
This edition will see the participation of 18 countries, in addition to military observers from around thirty countries.
Initiated by the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) and the American Armed Forces, this military exercise uses significant human and material resources. This year, operations will take place in the regions of Kenitra, Agadir, Tan Tan, Taroudant and Mahbès.
It should be noted that the previous edition was a great success due to the scope of the exercises and the number of human resources involved. Nearly 8,000 people, men and women, including Americans and other nationalities were mobilized.
