A short time ago, the technical meeting of the African Handball Cup Winners’ Cup, which is scheduled to start tomorrow, Tuesday, was held at Al-Ahly Club, in the presence of representatives of the participating clubs, as Al-Ahly, Zamalek and Sporting participated from Egypt.
The technical meeting witnessed the announcement of the Cameroonian Fab’s apology for participating, who was in the Al-Ahly group with Sporting.
Tomorrow evening, Tuesday, the Al-Ahly men’s handball team will meet its Ethiopian counterpart, Kirkos, in the opening match of the African Cup Winners’ Cup, which is organized by the red team at the club’s branch in Al-Jazira.
The meeting is preceded by the seasons of the opening ceremony of the tournament at King Abdullah Al-Faisal Hall, in the presence of Mansour Aremo, President of the African Union, Mohamed El-Amin, Chairman of the Interim Committee of the Egyptian Federation, and Al-Ahly Club officials.
The tournament groups were as follows:
Group A: Egyptian Zamalek, Cote d’Ivoire champion Red Star, Cameroonian Vans, Moroccan Wadad Samara, Congolese JSK.
Group B: Al-Ahly of Egypt, Sporting Al-Masry, Moroccan Raja, Kirkos of Ethiopia.
