However, although the withdrawal of AFP has already been approved by the Congressional Economy Commission, It is still pending that the plenary session of Congress submits it to a vote and approves it.
The president of the Commission of Economy of the Congress, Silvia MontezaHe reported that the date on which the approval of the regulation would be debated will be Thursday, April 28.
“The opinion that allows contributors and former contributors to the AFP to access 4 UIT of their funds, will be seen in the plenary session on April 28. And I believe that there it will have the same consensus that it had in the Economy Commission. It is a good sign that the Board of Spokespersons has exonerated the publication”he pointed.
AFP WITHDRAWAL 2022: WHAT IS NEEDED FOR THE APPROVAL OF THE LAW
- The signature of the majority of congressmen at the time of voting.
- The text must be delivered to the Board of Spokespersons.
- The rule must be published on the website of the Congress of the Republic or in the Official Gazette El Peruano.
- The opinion must be submitted for debate and vote.
- If the law is approved, it must be sent to the Head of State for promulgation within 15 business days.
FROM WHEN COULD THE 4UIT BE WITHDRAWN FROM THE AFPs
At the moment the dates for the disbursement of the money are unknown for the same reason that there is no official consultation platform. Nevertheless, the initial proposal established that the disbursement will be made in three parts as follows:
- First disbursement of S/. 4600 (1 ITU) | Maximum term of 30 calendar days following submitting the application to the AFP.
- Second disbursement of S/. 4600 (1 ITU) | Maximum term of 30 calendar days.
- Third disbursement of S/. 9200 (2 ITU) | Maximum term of 30 calendar days.
