The former contestant of the show Loft Story is devastated. ELle just lost her husband, Ronnie Turner. The son of star Tina Turner passed away on Thursday. He was 62 years old. Paramedics had rushed to a house in the San Fernando Valley, where Ronnie was found struggling to breathe. Rescuers tried to give him cardiac massage, but he was pronounced dead.
The cause of death was not known, but Ronnie is said to have suffered from various health issues, including cancer, in recent years.
“Mon DieuRonnie Turner, a true angel, a highly spiritual soul. My husband, my best friend, my baby (…) I tried my best until the end, this time I was not able to save you. I have loved you for 17 years. It’s really difficult, I’m very angry. It’s a tragedy (…) Rest in paradise. It’s so unfair“, wrote Afida Turner captioned a series of photos of her late husband.
The 45-year-old Frenchwoman said yes to Ronnie in 2007. If the couple had lived apart for many years, they did not want to divorce, relates The Dispatch.
Tina Turner’s tribute
Tina Turner also paid tribute to her son on social media. “Ronnie, you left the world much too soon. In grief, I close my eyes and think of you, my beloved son,” the award-winning singer wrote on Friday. Grammy in the caption of a black and white Instagram photo of herself with her eyes closed in a pensive pose.

The singer lost another son in 2018. Craig, his eldest, committed suicide at the age of 59.
The Tennessee-born star survived a stroke in 2013 and then underwent a kidney transplant four years later. In a 2021 documentary, simply titled “Tina,” she admitted that she “didn’t spend a lot of time“with his sons.
