Responsible sources in the General Company for Wholesale Trade revealed that the company had decided to open warehouses in a number of governorates, in order to sell various food commodities to all citizens in the various governorates of the Republic, regarding days before Eid Al-Adha, and this is in light of the government’s keenness in its various ministries to support the citizen. An important decision from the government makes Egyptians happy
Major General Khaled Abdullah, head of the General Company for Wholesale Trade, said that the company opened regarding several sheds in six governorates, and then the rest of the sheds are being completed in the governorates of the Canal Cities and Lower Egypt, where it is scheduled that these sheds will be opened in 14 governorates in order to cover Most of the governorates at the level of the Republic.
Abdullah explained in his statements that the directives of Dr. Ali Al-Moselhi, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, and Major General Ahmed Hassanein, CEO of the Holding Company for Food Industries, provide for the provision of all food commodities within these cadres in the governorates, at reduced prices within the state’s plan to support low-income people.>
Media reports indicated that the ministry sells Brazilian and Indian meat in these markets at regarding 160 pounds per kilo, while the price of poultry reaches 85 pounds per kilo.
The ministry had revealed the locations of the cadres inside Cairo and the governorates, which came as follows:
- Cairo Shader Ghamra
- Shader or Bayoumi
- Shader Ismailia commercial market
- Shader Mansoura in Dakahlia
- Shader Al-Hamul in Kafr El-Sheikh
- Shader, Menoufia, Menoufia
And according to the statements of Engineer Adel Abdel Aziz, Managing Director of the General Company for Wholesale Trade, the plan for opening stocks within the governorates and cities will be fully implemented within two days only, and then food commodities will be offered at reduced prices to citizens in those governorates before the start of Eid Al-Adha.
