The singer and ex-academician announced the news on her Facebook account. “I’m really sad today. And yes… following 2 years without catching the cursed virus, it came to attack me head-on,” shared the singer on her Facebook page.

She then mentioned having carried out a rapid test before rehearsal which turned out to be negative. The production of Star Académie in turn tested it on Friday and it was still negative. Coming back from rehearsal, the singer says she was not feeling well. She then went to bed and it was when she woke up on Saturday morning that she took a new test, which ended in a positive result.

The singer was to take part in a special number celebrating the greatest successes of superstar Céline Dion with Annie Villeneuve, Brigitte Boisjoli and Véronique Claveau, who were all academicians.
