The Association of Women Business Leaders of Morocco (AFEM) signed, Monday in Rabat, a partnership agreement with Bahrain Entrepreneurship Organization (BEO) for the promotion of female entrepreneurship.

Thus, the two parties undertake through this agreement, initialed by the president of AFEM, Leila Doukkali, and the president of BEO, Feryal Abdellah Nass, to facilitate the exchange of experiences, to share best practices and to explore investment and trade opportunities, encouraging the creation of strong bridges between the women’s business communities of Morocco and Bahrain.

On this occasion, Ms. Doukkali declared to MAP that the main objective of this agreement is to boost economic and commercial relations with their Bahraini counterparts, highlighting the significant potential for cooperation in several areas, notably agriculture and trade. detail.

This initiative aims to consolidate and enrich existing links in order to elevate them to the highest level of excellence, she added, emphasizing the importance of creating an environment favorable to female entrepreneurship.

For her part, Ms. Abdellah Nass indicated that the signing of this agreement opens the way to mutually beneficial economic synergies for the two countries in various sectors such as health, education and tourism. Returning to the achievement of Bahraini women in numerous positions of responsibility, the president of BEO highlighted the importance of continuing to support female entrepreneurship as an engine of economic growth, emphasizing the need to broaden the spectrum of opportunities for women in all sectors, especially those related to technology and innovation.

For her part, the director of statistics, monitoring studies and evaluation at the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Hanane Belyagou, underlined the importance of strengthening bilateral ties between Morocco and Bahrain, particularly in the economic, industrial and commercial fields, recalling that the increase in female representation in these sectors is among the priority institutional reforms in Morocco.

The AFEM Regional President of Rabat-Salé-Kenitra, Ouafae Alaoui, welcomed the efforts undertaken to promote female entrepreneurship in Morocco, seen as a generator of economic growth and social development, highlighting the need to fight once morest the obstacles encountered by women entrepreneurs, to facilitate their access to markets and to consolidate their presence.
