– The AEW Dynamite kicks off with the commentators welcoming us, then Jon Moxley enters the ring first.
Jon Moxley Acc from Claudio Castagnoli and Yuta Wheeler vs Tomohiro Ishii
During the fight, Eddie Kingston shows up with a chair to make sure he doesn’t see any interference from the Blackpool Combat Club.
At the end of the match, the two bump into each other hard and resist. Moxley finally manages to stomp Ishii and continues with his Death Rider for the three count.
Winner: Jon Moxley
After the fight, Moxley walks past Kingston and shoves him.
– Backstage, Renee Paquette is in the parking lot and Adam Cole arrives. Paquette wants to have his comments on his duo for the tournament, but MJF arrives and honks. MJF praises Cole for being “sick” at Forbidden Door, that’s smart. Cole says he was really sick.
MJF says with the tournament it’s a great opportunity for Cole. Cole doesn’t have a chance to win the world title, but together the two could control the whole company. The two could spend the weekend together like two brothers to get to know each other better.
Cole says he approves. He’s going to see some friends backstage and then they can leave together. MJF says he has a gift for Cole to acknowledge the fact that they will soon be the tag team champions. MJF gives him a “Better Than You BayBay” tee.
– Back after the break, backstage, Renee Paquette is with Jon Moxley and asks him what he is doing with Kingston. Eddie Kingston arrives and argues with Moxley. Kingston says Moxley is with that idiot Castagnoli, he can’t just sit there and do nothing. Paquette asks both for calm. Paquette tells Kingston to settle this matter.
– We present a video of the match between Ospreay and Omega at Forbidden Door. Omega says this story isn’t over, he’s coming back.
– We present a video from earlier today with the JAS who launched the challenge to Cassidy. Cassidy then recruited new friends.
Trios Match
Orange Cassidy, El Hijo Del Vikingo et Keith Lee vs Matt Menard, Angelo Parker et Daniel Garcia
At the end of the match, Parker takes him out of the ring, Cassidy gives him an Orange Punch. Lee takes the tag and blocks every one of Menard’s punches. Lee does his Dragon Ball Z on Menard for the count of three.

– Behind the scenes, we find The Elite. Adam Page says tonight they will have a Trios Match in Open Challenge. The Dark Order is coming. Matt Jackson asks what are they doing here, they are live. John Silver says they wanted three men, they are three and they are going to kick their asses tonight. Alex Reynolds says it’s serious, Page can’t avoid them for months and not pay. Page says he’s sorry. Evil Uno says it’s not enough. Page decided to drop them for The Elite. Page says they needed help, he’s not responsible, he’s not their babysitter. Reynolds says they were friends, but it’s over, tonight they will be his opponents.
