– Tonight is the very first AEW Collision and it all starts with the intro and then the pyros break out to give way to the commentators wishing to welcome.
– CM Punk then makes his comeback and the fans chant his name. He says he’s tired of being nice. He was out for 10 months with an injury, but he’s still here and as long as he’s here, it’s still going to be the wrestling business. A grown-up business, not a popularity contest.
He wants to talk regarding the past. If he had been told when he was younger that he was going to sell out of the arenas, the little Punk would not have believed him. He mightn’t have done all of this without the fans. Some people hate it for the same reasons we love it. His presence makes people uncomfortable because he is the truth and the truth is painful. The crowd chants “Fuck Elite. CM Punk says you can boo him or cheer him on, but we all know he’s right. David Zaslov (of Warner Bros.) calls him One Bill Phil because he’s the only real one in a counterfeit ticket business (pun with Bucks).
The King is back and why would he change? He will always tell the truth and there are people who think he owes them an apology. So here it is: it’s sorry that people who are more fragile than us are wrestlers that we love. Tell him if he’s lying! CM Punk holds a bag and says he earned it by winning the Dog Collar Match. It’s still his until someone can pin him or make him quit. There are definitely people who were hoping for him to retire, but it won’t be until someone can measure up to him!

At the end of the mstch, Christian Cage hits Wardlow in the back of the referee then Luchasaurus takes the opportunity to make him a Clothesline from behind followed by the fall for the victory.

At the end of the match, Andrade El Idolo applies a Figure Eight Leglock on Buddy Matthews and the latter ends up giving up.

– After the match, Andrade El Idolo offers his hand to Buddy Matthews who looks at it… the lights go out. They light up once more and we see the House of Black in the ring. Brody King does a Lariat to Andrade.
– A video on Scorpio Sky is broadcast.
– Tony Nese is in the ring, he is cut off by the music of Miro who is entering for the next match.

At the end of the match, Miro applies his Game Over on Tony Nese who ends up giving up.

Skye Blue et Willow Nightingale vs The Outcasts (Ruby Soho & Toni Storm)
At the end of the match, Tony Storm sprays Ruby Soho’s face because of Willow Nightingale and Skye Blue takes the opportunity to do her Code Blue on Soho followed by the pinfall for the victory.

Trios Match
CM Punk et FTR (Cash Wheeler et Dax Harwood) Samoa Joe, Jay White et Juice Robinson
At the end of the match, Samoa Joe applies his Coquina Clutch on CM Punk. The FTRs want to come and help their partner except Jay White and Juice Robinson hold them back, but Harwood manages to end the submission. Juice Robinson takes over but CM Punk sends him a kick before the FTR give him their Shatter Machine followed by a GTS from CM Punk to win by pinfall.
