“And since it is an incomplete document, I consider that it has surely arisen from a particular interest of someone who has had particular interests at the university. There is an issue of particular interest within the university in line with unofficial external political positions that some have taken as their banner, but when making the respective consultation they tell us that there is no official position on the matter that a deputy can promote a reform to the organic law.”detailed the rector.
Finally, regarding this issue, he assured that they have consulted government officials who have told them that they do not have in mind a reform of the organic law, at the same time that he indicated that he cannot assert that this is totally true.

“This was not respected and violates what is established by the commitments assumed by the Court where any political distinctive or partisan acts are prohibited, otherwise the TSE might sanction… The 1,500 members of the different political parties would be housed and that would not was fulfilled, from the rectory we made a statement and demanded that the Supreme Electoral Tribunal carry out an investigation into the matter and we sent a letter to President Dora Martínez regarding it.â€.
Finally, Quintanilla called on government authorities to respect the autonomy of the university, which he considered has cost the alma mater blood. In this sense, he referred to the actions carried out by the students last Friday during the celebration of the 183rd anniversary of the UES, where the rector highlighted that they complained regarding situations that they perceive are not of benefit to them.
“What the students did on Friday is an initiative that gives notice that they see that the autonomy of the university is at stake.â€aggregate.
