Adviser to the President for Health: We succeeded in reducing Corona injuries, and I expect other changes in the coming days

Taj El-Din added, in a telephone interview to the “Hadrat Al-Citizen” program with the media, Sayed Ali, that there are cases of Omicron in Egypt, and we must continue to take all precautionary measures to prevent the virus, adding: “The main precaution to reduce infection, is to follow precautionary measures, and obtain on vaccinations.

Dr. Muhammad Awad Taj El-Din added that most cases infected with the virus are treated in homes, which contributed to reducing cases from the past days, in addition to the state’s ability to provide all available medicines to those infected, continuing: “People deal with simple symptoms of infection with corona, as influenza. Seasonal or mild cold, but people should deal as if they are dealing with an infectious disease, and get medicines according to the doctor’s prescription, because every patient has a different treatment from the other, and whoever was getting medicines and stopped them suddenly, especially antibiotics, are very dangerous habits, And the full dose must be obtained according to the doctor, so that the disease does not activate once more and its duration is prolonged.”

And he continued, “The isolation course should not be less than 10 days from the time of feeling symptoms, and if the injured performs an analysis PCR And it came out negative, waiting for another 48 hours and conducting another analysis to make sure he recovered completely,” indicating that we should expect more virus mutations in the coming days, until it succeeds in entering the body through the new mutation, continuing: “I expect in 2022 and before next winter, that There will be a new form of the virus, which is more durable and less severe and is treated well.”
