Vienna (OTS) – As part of the most comprehensive modernization program in the history of the Vienna Health Association, the Favoriten Clinic will also be renovated by 2034. A state-of-the-art new building for the Institute for Laboratory Diagnostics will be built along Triester Straße on the site of the Favoriten Clinic by 2026. The construction work will begin with City Councilor for Health Peter Hacker, WIGEV General Director Evelyn Kölldorfer-Leitgeb, Deputy General Director Herwig Wetzlinger, Administrative Director of the Favoriten Clinic Barbara Schubert, Director of the Institute for Laboratory Diagnostics Manuela Födinger and the Managing Director of Project Development and Construction Management GmbH Michael Lischent Groundbreaking ceremony for this construction project took place.

Location: Klinik Favoriten, construction site between pathology and Campus Favoriten
