RIYADH: An advanced mobile technology system to monitor and repair defects on the country’s roads and post traffic signs. Saudi Arabia is the first country in the Gulf region to use such a system.
It is instituted by the Roads General Authority. The aim is to ensure that the maintenance is carried out in an efficient manner and ensure the safety of the roads. This way the quality of the roads can also be assessed. And this machine can put necessary traffic signs on the road. Check the road with a high-resolution camera.
The device is also equipped with GPS for location determination. The device can be mounted on a vehicle and travel at a speed of up to 80 kmph to perform the necessary tasks. Necessary signs will be placed on the road as follows. It will also significantly reduce the risk of workers involved in road maintenance works.
Improve the efficiency and quality of maintenance, reduce costs and renew road signs. The Roads Authority also stated that this system was introduced to focus on the quality, safety and traffic density of the entire country’s roads.

Third Saudi ship to Gaza with 1,246 tons of relief goods, 300 containers
Riyadh: A third ship has left Saudi Arabia with relief aid to bring relief to the people of Gaza. The third relief ship of the King Salman Relief Center left Jeddah for Said port in Egypt with 300 large containers weighing 1,246 tons.
The 200 containers contain medicines and medical supplies to meet the needs of the hospitals there. The 100 containers contain basic food items, powdered infant formula and shelter materials. Earlier, two ships sent tons of goods to Gaza. Airlifts are also continuing. 24 planes have already flown aid from Saudi Arabia to Arish in Egypt. This is part of standing with the Palestinian people in times of crisis and suffering.
