Sensors designed for cleanliness and sterilization
The sensors are distinguished by their front-flush process connections and their robust sealed housings (IP69). They can be cleaned according to the CIP/SIP process for up to 2 hours at 150°C, even in operation and with practically all detergents. As a reminder, cleaning in place (CIP) is a process for cleaning technical installations. During CIP cleaning, different liquids are injected into the pipes of the installation. The detergents used are alkaline solutions and acids, sometimes in high concentrations and often at very high temperatures. SEP sterilization, on the other hand, is carried out under pressure (1 bar) with saturated steam. It also uses alkaline solutions and acids as well as generally very hot water and steam.
