Vatican Secretary of State Cardinal Pietro Parolin told reporters that we must all work together and not try to isolate ourselves from one another. Speaking regarding the situation in Ukraine, Cardinal Parolin said that we should try to work together to find solutions. Regarding the war in Russia and Ukraine, Cardinal said that it is clear from the current state of the world that a stable government can hold on even in the face of crises.
The Vatican Secretary of State said that Pope Francis wants to go to Ukraine, and if the situation allows, the Pope will go to Kiev as soon as possible.
Cardinal Parolin also stated that no one expected the food and energy crises we are currently experiencing at the global level from the ongoing war. He added that in the current context, problem solving can be facilitated if there is someone capable of managing things.
