Regarding how local manufacturing contributes to achieving ADNOC’s goal of climate neutrality by 2045; Dr. Saleh Al Hashemi said: Investing in the local industry will enable us to significantly reduce carbon emissions from our purchasing chain, while importing international products requires significant energy consumption through transportation and logistics, which leads to the generation of significant carbon dioxide emissions.
