The Moroccan National Highways Company (ADM) has published its annual activity report for the 2021 financial year.
This report brings together several areas, namely, “the governance of society”, “for a safe and pleasant journey”, “development of the motorway infrastructure”, “human capital” and “CSR & R&D”.
Quoted in this report, the Director General of ADM Mr. Anouar Benazzouz underlined that “thanks to the national strategy of vaccination once morest Covid-19, deployed under the Enlightened Conduct and the proactive approach of HM King Mohammed VI, may God L’Assiste, our Country recorded a gradual recovery in economic activity in 2021, a recovery having made it possible to gradually relaunch motorway traffic following a year 2020 severely impacted by the pandemic, even if this recovery did not make it possible to recover the level recorded before the crisis”.
This experience has been, for ADM, a source of strengthening its resilience, insofar as the latter has become a lever of sustainability, said Mr. Benazzouz.
And to continue: “The resilience that we have shown and which has been further consolidated in 2021 has been supported by the transformation project of our company, which began a few years ago, a now irreversible transformation that allows us to stay the course despite this multidimensional crisis that has taken hold over time”.
According to the CEO of ADM, the year 2021 was rich in important achievements and achievements both for the mission of developing the motorway infrastructure and for the mission of service to the user, which are now the dual mission of the Company. National.
In this sense, he highlighted the inauguration of the latest generation central control room, the continuation of the strategic work of tripling the Casablanca-Berrechid highway and the Casablanca bypass highway, through an ingenious phasing to limit disruption on these very heavy traffic sections, as well as the completion of the tripling work of two lots out of four (2/4).
On the financial results side, the report shows that the turnover reached more than 3.2 billion dirhams (MMDH) and the net result 42 million dirhams (MDH).
Regarding automation, ADM recorded more than 306,000 new sales of the Jawaz pass in 2021 alone, up 25% compared to 2020, and modernized 17 toll stations.
With regard to infrastructure, the national company reports the tripling of 20 kilometers of the linear motorway of the Casablanca-Berrechid motorway and the Casablanca bypass motorway, in addition to 5 new service stations put into operation and 10 new Civil Protection motorway aid stations put into service.
