The turnover of the National Company of Motorways of Morocco (ADM) increased by 32.5% to stand at 3.2 billion dirhams (MMDH) excluding tax in 2021.
The financial performance is improving, in line with the resumption of motorway traffic, but which remains insufficient to return to the historic level before Covid, underlines ADM in a press release published following the meeting of its Board of Directors, held last Thursday under the chairmanship of the Minister of Equipment and Water.
The Board of Directors approved the Company’s corporate and consolidated financial statements for the financial year ended December 31, 2021, notes the press release which also reports a positive net result of 42 million dirhams (MDH) and a decrease in debt of 4% compared to the year 2020.
It also emerges from the company’s accounts that the balance sheet remained almost stable, while ADM’s consolidated accounts, according to IAS/IFRS standards, show a positive net result of 436 million dirhams, in line with the improvement in the figure business and the favorable impact of exchange rates.
The Board of Directors also approved the management report to be sent to the next Ordinary General Meeting, as well as the regulated agreement between the ADM Company and ADM-PROJET relating to delegated project management assistance for the construction project of the Guercif-Nador highway, adds the press release.
