No one is safe from the digital divide anymore. It is true that inequalities in access to technologies and their use depend greatly on the level of training. In other words, the lower this level, the higher the probability that digital skills will be restricted. Enough to undoubtedly feel safe for highly educated profiles, who do not fear finding themselves in the situation of the 20% of the population having low digital skills or having none at all, therefore suffering from electronics (2021 figures from the Federal Statistical Office, which relate to the year 2019). And yet.

In itself, not worrying about it because you don’t feel concerned is already a mistake: it is a problem for society as a whole and the labor market to have citizens who remain on the sidelines in digital skills. This, especially since 20% remains a significant percentage.
