30 billion won for replacement of old air conditioners, 10 billion won for open refrigerator doors

According to the economic policy direction for the second half of this year announced on the 4th, the government changed the power industry infrastructure fund plan and nearly doubled the budget for the power efficiency improvement project from 51.8 billion won to 96.8 billion won.
The additional financial resources will be used to provide 40 billion won to alleviate the burden of cooling costs.
When small business owners replace air conditioners produced before 2015 with first-class energy efficiency products, they can receive a refund of 40% of the product price (up to 1.6 million won per business operator).
The Ministry of Industry has allocated a budget of 30 billion won for this purpose.
In addition, 10 billion won will be invested to support 40% of the cost if doors are installed in open refrigerators used in supermarkets and other food stores.
