PRESIDENT Joko Widodo (Jokowi) emphasized the importance of adapting to the digital era in marketing Indonesian products. This is in line with the challenges of unstable global economic conditions.

“The global economy is currently growing slowly, only around 2.6% to 2.7%. Apart from that, global inflation, which is estimated to reach 5.9%, is one of the biggest challenges faced by many countries,” said Jokowi, quoted from Between, Thursday (10/10)

Not only that, tensions resulting from conventional wars and trade wars have also worsened the situation with various trade restrictive policies taken by countries.

Apart from that, concerns about overproduction in China have also become a global issue, where cheap imported products from China are putting pressure on the domestic market, including Indonesia. In these conditions, the protection of local products is more important than ever.

Responding to these global dynamics, Indonesian companies are not remaining silent. One of them is CV Vies Indo Abadi, a company that has focused on the production of garment accessories since 1994.

The superior products from Vie’s Collection, such as garment accessories, fabric flowers, lace, ribbons and corsage brooches, have penetrated the Singapore and Malaysia markets, but it is hoped that through TEI 2024, the reach of these products can be expanded to more countries.
