Adam DeVine claims to have witnessed a murder in front of his house in Hollywood.
The actor of Pitch Perfect appeared in the podcast This is Important with co-hosts Anders Holm, Blake Anderson and Kyle Newacheck, Wednesday night. During the show, he shared that he and his wife, actress Chloe Bridges, saw a man being shot in front of their Hollywood Hills home.
“Something really scary happened,” the 39-year-old star said. In front of our house, they had organized a crazy poker game. People were coming in Lamborghinis, Bentleys, Rolls-Royces and all that, and there were old guys, who, for sure, fuck bitches and play cards, he explained, according to the New York Post. And I see these guys – and it’s fun to sit and watch – (so) my wife and I sat on our balcony, it was crazy. »
The actor then warned the public that the story was regarding to go wrong, adding that a man, later identified as 39-year-old Emil Lahaziel, had been shot dead. “Someone was murdered there, revealed the actor of Workaholics. Someone has been murdered. »
The podcast hosts were shocked by her story, with Kyle Newacheck calling the incident “sad”. “Yeah, but it happens, people die, added Adam DeVine. It’s not Hollywood, it’s a story regarding my real life. »
An unidentified man shot Emil Lahaziel multiple times, reports the Los Angeles Times. Police tried to resuscitate the victim upon arrival, but she died at the scene.
